As a client-centered, compassionate, and collaborative therapist, my treatment approach focuses on the individual needs of my clients to help them reach their goals. I help children, adults and families discover their strengths, gain perspective, and address their current challenges and long-standing issues. I use a selection of styles and techniques to incorporate what is most helpful for each client. Play therapy is the approach I use when working with children.
My areas of specialty include trauma/PTSD, child abuse/neglect, sexual assault, domestic violence. I counsel children (11 and older), and adults of any age.
During my years as a therapist, I have helped individuals struggling with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, family conflict, sexual assault, child abuse/neglect, attachment issues, domestic violence, relationship issues, parenting, ADHD, separation/divorce, grief/loss, self-esteem, adjustment issues, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and coping skills.
